For your own home
Monitoring an elderly parent
A smarter home for the life you’re living right now
Myah gives you a clear dashboard for your iPad or tablet with genuinely useful things: today’s weather, which bin goes out, your activity at a glance. It is clear, useful and transparent. The same information is also on a smart phone app for you, and for the people you choose.
Behind the dashboard sits a quiet safety net you’ll hopefully never need. If you become inactive, alerts are sent to the people you want. Nothing to wear, nothing to charge, nothing to learn. Simple.
“We’re not old. We just want the house to be a bit easier to manage, and everyone to stop fussing.”
That’s the spirit Myah is built in. It’s a helpful home first: whether you live alone or there are two of you. The reassurance for your family comes built in, without you lifting a finger and without anyone fussing.
Useful from day one
Weather, bin days and your home’s activity, all in one place on your iPad or tablet. No apps to juggle, no passwords to remember, nothing to operate. Glance at it over breakfast the way you’d glance out of the window.
The safety net you’ll hopefully never need
If you become less active (e.g. there’s no movement after a time you’ve chosen) the people you pick are alerted so they can call or pop round. Unlike a pendant alarm, there’s no button to press and nothing to remember to wear or charge; even after a soft fall, the inactivity itself raises the alert.
We’re straightforward about what Myah is not: we don’t run a 24/7 emergency response centre. If you already have a personal alarm, the two work well side by side. Myah covers every day through your informal care circle; the alarm provides 24/7 backup if you push the button.
What it’s like to have in the home
“The self-install was easier than I expected. It took about an hour and all my questions were patiently answered. A few days later I was chatting at the front door to a neighbour and my phone pinged to let me know I’d left it open; it reassured me that My Assisted Home is looking out for me all the time.”

Getting started & suitability (4)
Not at all. Myah is designed to be useful and inform, not operated. It updates itself. If you can glance at a calendar on the wall, you can use Myah.
No. Myah is a helpful unified smart home service that also includes a safety net. The best time to have add new things to your life is while you’re well and busy, adapting after a crisis is never easy. Because the daily features earn their keep from the start with the safety net simply in the background, we’ve made it useful, affordable and sensible to be proactive.
You can simply deactivate alerts when you are away for over a day. This can be scheduled well in advance. Myah still operates, and you can glance at it from anywhere on your phone: handy for that “did we shut the front door?” moment on the way to the airport or when out for a day.
Only the people you choose, and only activity information: no images, no sound. Everything stays on the hub in your own home, which you own. You can change who sees what at any time through the app.
Bespoke smart home projects
Beyond Myah, My Assisted Home designs and develops the software for tailored smart home automation: heating, lighting, security and more, built around how you actually live. Our speciality is the software and the clever use of readily available consumer equipment. We don’t do rewiring, home cinema installations or building-project management โ just the intelligence that ties a smart home together.
If you have a project in mind, we’d love to talk it through.
